Editorial continuity is more than catching contradictions. It tracks what a work has established, what each scene changes, and which later moments must carry those consequences forward.\n\nThe process starts by identifying authoritative sources and protected decisions. Character facts, chronology, setting rules, terminology, unresolved promises, and revision constraints are recorded in a form that can be checked during every pass.\n\nContinuity review protects both logic and emotion. A technically consistent story can still fail if a character forgets what should matter, a cost disappears, or a payoff no longer matches its setup.
